Are you concerned about what’s happening in our world?
Would you like to explore your ability to respond?
At this five day retreat on the beautiful Holy Isle in May we will use The Work That Reconnects, a form of transformative group work developed by Joanna Macy, to give us energy and focus to respond to the current challenges faced by our planet. It consists of practical exercises designed to grow feelings of gratitude and connection, look at how we can overcome feelings of despair and helplessness about the collective mess we’re in, to see the world with new eyes by changing our perspectives, and to make positive changes towards a sustainable future.
The workshop is a powerful way to connect more deeply with others who share our concerns, under the supportive guidance of experienced facilitators. There will be time to roam the island alone or with others, and will include opportunities to practice mindfully being through guided meditation, ChiKung and Yoga. The natural and nourishing beauty of Holy Island will help to inspire and strengthen our ability to keep moving forward with active hope and positive resolve.
